2023 Theatre Summer Intensive: Sign Up Here

If you want to make a difference in the world and have a lot of fun while doing it, our two-week theatre camp is for you. For the past 50 years, the Duke Ellington School of the Arts has been preparing young actors for careers in the arts. Young theatre-makers study acting, improvisation, musical theatre, comedy, voice, writing, and dance. With guidance from professional actors and directors, students create and perform an original play about a social issue they care about. What makes Ellington’s camp unique is our family atmosphere, our high-quality theatre training, and our commitment to empowering kids to use theatre for social change.
