We Need You! Adult Volunteer Request for DESA’s Inaugural Pride Celebration

Greetings Ellington Community!

As you may already know, the GSA and I have been hard at work preparing for the first-ever DESA Pride, June 5 – June 11, 2022. This event has been made possible by the Mayor’s Office of LGBTQ Affairs. The week is going to be packed with exciting activities, performances, and tons of free swag! With that, we could really use your help.

Specifically, we need ADULT support for the following major events:

• Sunday, June 5, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM: School-wide decorating
• Friday, June 10, 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM: Field Day (set-up/supervise various stations/tear-down); actual Field Day will run from 2:00 PM-5:00 PM
