LMC has five strands, “Creative Writing Across Genre” (Fiction, Non-Fiction, Poetry, Essay, Mircro-Fiction, etc.), “Journalism” (Print and Web-based), “Playwriting and Performance”, “Social Media”, and “Film/Documentary”
Do you perform in Literary Media and Communications?
LMC has a commission based, performance ensemble, the “R Street Collective”, that has performed at the Kennedy Center, Smithsonian, Hillyer Gallery, the Fridge, Busboys and Poets, and TEDx Penn.
Is there a lot of reading in Literary Media and Communications?
If you do not have a love of reading then this is not the department for you.
