If a student (s) is out sick a written note must be provided to the school by the parent within 5 school days after the student (s) return to school for the absence to be excused.

Georgetown Mock Trial Victory

On Thursday, 11/21/2019, we are very proud to announce that Street Laws’ two mock trial teams from Ellington both won their cases against different DCPS schools. Ellington’s Street Law students were split into a plaintiff’s and a defendant’s team. At the Georgetown University Law Center, they competed against different teams under the watchful eyes of different judges.Although both cases were close, BOTH Ellington teams ultimately won!
