SENIOR DUES PACKAGES
Duke’s Express Package – Option A: $120.00
(Includes Cap & Gown, Diploma Cover & Senior Awards and Graduation Celebrations)

Duke’s Deluxe Package – Option B: $180.00
(Includes Cap & Gown, Diploma Cover & Senior Awards and Graduation Celebrations AND Josten’s Graduation Announcements)

Class Dues are $120 (not including announcements) and it is imperative that all students pay their class dues if they wish to participate in Commencement Ceremonies. All Class Dues must be paid by Wednesday, May 30th. Students are able to pay their Class Dues by certified check, money order or credit/debit card. The Ellington school accepts Visa, Discover, MasterCard, and American Express branded credit or debit cards. Payments are accepted online or in person to Jerome Hopkins in The Ellington Fund. NO CASH WILL BE ACCEPTED.

Each senior can bring in only one paid guest

It is important that students follow the following processes in order to be granted access to Prom at the French Embassy.

  • All students attending Prom must fill out the Prom Registration Form by Wednesday, May 30th at 11:59pm. (http://www.ellingtonschool.org/students/class-of-2018/prom-registration/)
  • All students attending Prom must pay for their Prom ticket online. The price of the Prom Ticket is $90 and it must paid by Wednesday, May 30th at 11:59pm. (Click here for payment portal.)
  • All non-Ellington attendees must pay the $90 fee to attend Prom and complete a Prom Guest Pass (see Mr. Andrew Smith). The Prom Guest Pass must be turned back into Mr. Smith by Tuesday, May 29th at 11:59pm.
  • No payments or forms will be collected after the Wednesday, May 30th date.
  • All attendees must bring their photo ID’s to Prom to be granted access into the French Embassy.

Students are required to wear the following:
All white, dress, pants, skirt, blouse or top
Shoes do not have to be white NO FLIP FLOPS ALLOWED
Dark dress slacks, white shirt, long or short sleeve allowed
(no T-shirts), Hard bottom shoes

The date for Senior Awards is Wednesday, June 6th at 10am. This awards ceremony will be held at the Ellington Theater. All students should arrive to Ellington by 8am on Wednesday morning. Students are required to wear the following:

All white, dress, pants, skirt, blouse or top

Within the coming week, a Senior Awards Seating form will be available on the Ellington Website. We will send an email with the link, when it is live on the website. It is important that all guests of the Senior Class fill out this form so that Front of House can properly prepare for seating.

*No balloons will be allowed into the school for any reason. All balloons must be held outside of the school building. Any balloons that enter into the building will be confiscated at the entrance and disposed of.

Graduation will be held on Saturday, June 9th at 3pm. We are asking that all graduates report to Ellington by 12pm. Graduates will be the only ones allowed into the building prior to the house opening for guests. More graduation information will be forthcoming. There are only 5 admit tickets per senior. Students are required to wear the following:

We will send a follow up email, later in the week with more information regarding the Senior Awards Seating Form and Graduation Ticketing and Seating, as well as the finalized Rehearsal Schedule for the Seniors.

SENIOR COMMUNICATIONS
Please download the “Duke Ellington School of the Arts” mobile app in the Apple Store or Google Play Store. You can submit inquiries to the Senior Class Sponsors and review all up to date Senior Class information!

COMMUNITY SERVICE
100 hours must be completed and documented no later than May 1, 2018.* Please provide completed community service forms to the counseling department.

SENIOR CLEARANCE
Clearance sheets will be available in the Welcome Center on Friday, June 1st at 11am.

• Seniors should return all textbooks, equipment, final assignments and other required items prior to June 7th.

ALL ARTS FEES MUST BE PAID IN FULL IN ORDER TO BE CLEARED FOR COMMENCEMENT CEREMONIES. See The Ellington Fund, your art Department Chair or Mrs. Robertson to check on your status for arts fees.
