SHADE set to elect new officers for School Year 2020-2021
Your leadership skills and talents could be of assistance to SHADE, the Student Home Association of Duke Ellington. As our overarching parent group, SHADE’s mission is to work as a unified body for the benefit, promotion and support of the Ellington School.
Officers are elected by SHADE members and serve for a term of one school year. Two parent representatives and two alternates from each arts department comprise the board. Elections will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at 6:30 pm. For more information on the roles and responsibilities, please click here.
Candidates for President and Vice President(s) will be asked to give a short description of their qualifications, interest in the position and intended goals prior to the vote on June 2. All interested candidates should submit their names to Iana Phillips, Nominations Committee Chair. Additional questions can be addressed to SHADE president Howard Wilson.
