Ellington Students Practice Civic Engagement

Ellington Students Practice Civic Engagement

Ellington students practiced their civic engagement Wednesday, December 10th at the Public Engagement Forums by Mayor-Elect Muriel Bowser. They spoke to the committees about the importance of supporting the Ellington Building Modernization and resources needed to do so. Led by Co-Founder Peggy Cooper-Cafritz and Director of Artistic Affairs Rashida Bumbray, the students used their voices to speak out for their community. Wonderful ambassadors of Ellington and active DC citizens!
