Duke Ellington School of the Arts is an institution that fosters life-long friendships and generates successful artists. Preserving Duke Ellington as an institution for artistic development continues to give the Duke Ellington Alumni Association the motivation it needs provide continued support.
The mission of the Duke Ellington Alumni Association is to:
- Develop and maintain a strong and healthy bond between the members of the Association and the Duke Ellington School of the Arts;
- Stimulate and maintain among the members of the Association an interest in the activities and welfare of the School;
- Bring members together to build an infrastructure for communication;
- Provide services and programs for the members of the Association;
- Assist the School in its growth and development; and
- Support the school financially through donations generated by various means.

- Receive assistance with planning reunion celebrations.
- Receive priority notification regarding activities sponsored by the Alumni Association, including the Faculty Concert Series, the Fall Festival, student performances and Annual Alumni Gala.
