TERACE JONES, Dance, Class of 1986
A world class dancer was born and raised in Washington DC. He began his dance training at the Duke Ellington School of the Arts under the direction of Sandra Fortune and Lynn Welters. After graduating he received several scholarships to further his dance training. Notably the School of American Ballet, as well as the Washington School of Ballet. Jones would go on to perform with some of the worlds most prestigious ballet companies. Including: The Washington Ballet, Joffrey Ballet, Pacific Northwest and Maurice BeJart Ballet of the 20th Century in Lausanne,Switzerland.
His musical theater and Broadway credits include:
Performing in Paris, France at the Legendary Bal Du Moulin Rouge revue, the Tony Award winning FOSSE in which he was nominated for a Helen Hayes Award: Featured performer in a Musical, Dance of the Vampires starring Michael Crawford, HOT FEET and Dirty Dancing the Classic Story on Stage.
